Kyle MacDonald

Kyle MacDonald is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in open source and cloud computing. With a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Colorado State University, Kyle moved on to design and deliver complex cloud infrastructure solutions to organizations large and small. He has held various positions throughout his career, ranging from Senior Engineer at Topspin Communications to Vice President Corporate Development and Chief Evangelist at Citrix. His career includes tenure at Sun Microsystems, Wachovia Capital Partners, and Canonical. Kyle also Co-founded Flare Networks, a provider of carrier-grade cloud computing services. In addition, he has served as a board member and adviser to various organizations, including Kontron North America, Red Hat, Openstack, and Huawei Technologies. Kyle is currently Managing Director at Opennile Advisory & Fund.
