Kyle Davies

Kyle Davies is a seasoned professional with over 33 years of experience in the Exhibition and Distribution sectors of the film industry.

He began his career in 1986 as a Film Buyer with General Cinema in Dallas, TX, eventually moving to Boston, MA, to work with National Amusements and later to Los Angeles with DreamWorks SKG Distribution.

Davies joined Paramount Pictures in 2005 as the Senior Vice President of the Western Division and later transitioned to Overture Films to build the distribution group, which was later acquired by Relativity Media.

His role expanded as he served as the President of Worldwide Distribution for Relativity Media and then for the joint venture between Relativity and EuropaCorp Distribution.

In 2016, he returned to Paramount Pictures as the President of Domestic Distribution until December 2019.

Apart from his professional roles, Kyle Davies is a member of AMPAS, the Chairman of the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation, and a recipient of the Salah M. Hassanein Award.

He is also actively involved in academia, frequently lecturing at USC and The University of Texas.

Kyle Davies holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film and Advertising from The University of Texas at Austin.
