Kyle Bachstein

Kyle Bachstein is the President of Bachstein Consulting, a company he founded in 2017 that specializes in developing firearms products for civilian, military, and law enforcement use.12 He is an experienced engineer and leader in the firearms industry, with expertise in weapons and ammunition testing, evaluation, and development.1

Bachstein holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in Military Studies from Pennsylvania State University, as well as completing Master's level coursework in Systems Engineering at Johns Hopkins University.2 He is certified Test and Evaluation Level 3 by the United States Defense Acquisition University.1

Prior to founding his consulting firm, Bachstein worked as:

• Test and Evaluation Manager at SIG SAUER, Inc. (2015-2017)
• Test Engineer Level III at Sig Sauer Inc (2013-2015)
• Test Director at Aberdeen Test Center (2008-2013)1

His company, Bachstein Consulting, provides product management, engineering design, and military-grade test and evaluation services for the firearms industry.1 Bachstein has been instrumental in contract awards from various U.S. government agencies, including the U.S. Army, USSOCOM, and the Department of Homeland Security.2

Bachstein has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including nominations for the Groak Award and the Fasig Award from the U.S. Army.2 He has also been a member of the joint technical and firearms committee for the Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers' Institute (SAAMI).2
