Kyla Ryman, an early reading specialist and advocate of organic learning created the Home Grown Books concept in 2009 while helping with reading curriculum at her friend's home school cooperative. A mother and member of an artistic family, Kyla is dedicated to creating content that is visually stimulating while respecting the intelligence of the earliest learners. The book series reflects Home Grown Books’ mission to produce sophisticated and smart educational materials available to the earliest reader while also making an eco-friendly and local product.
