Artist-PhD. Kushlani Jayasinha

Kushlani Jayasinha, an Artist-PhD, hails from Sri Lanka and integrates her Buddhist upbringing with her diverse professional background in Silicon Valley as a software engineer and a postdoctoral Physics scholar.

Her artwork reflects a blend of traditional meditative practices learned from Sri Lankan monks and a deep understanding of Buddha's teachings, resulting in meticulously crafted abstract forms inspired by nature and infused with a dreamlike quality.

She holds a degree in Fullstack Software Engineering from PayPal, a Doctorate in Physics from the University of Oklahoma, and completed programs in Computer Software Engineering at Hackbright Academy and Foothill College.

Kushlani is the Founder of Kushlani Jayasinha Fine Art and has previously worked as a Contemporary Artist at the same organization, as well as holding positions as a Software Engineer at Software Development Projects and Thermo Fisher Scientific.
