Kurt Struckmeyer is a writer, theologian, and the founder of the Mustard Seed School of Theology.1 He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and discovered a passion for the teachings of Jesus at a young age, which greatly influenced his life's trajectory.1
Career and Education
Struckmeyer graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting and Sculpture in 1969.1 He then had a 35-year career at the General Motors Design Center in Warren, Michigan, where he worked in various roles including sculptor, digital technician, process planner, and historian.1
After retiring from General Motors in 2005, Struckmeyer focused full-time on his theological pursuits.13 He founded the Mustard Seed School of Theology and launched the website "Following Jesus: a life of faith in a postmodern world" in 2004.13
