Kunal Prasad is the founder of Cropin Technology Solutions, a Farm Management- Monitoring-Traceability and Analytics business in Bangalore, established in August 2010.
Cropin offers SaaS-based services to Agribusinesses worldwide, allowing clients to analyze, interpret, and gain real-time insights on their standing crops and projects across extensive geographical areas, enabling them to take timely corrective measures.
Cropin's focus is on promoting data-driven farming and enhancing the 'per acre value' by incorporating mobile technology, analytics, remote sensing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
With operations in 52 countries and servicing over 2.1 million farmers, Cropin is committed to helping farmers 'grow more from less'.
Kunal completed an MBA in Marketing from Great Lakes Institute of Management and also studied at St. Xavier's Hazaribag.
Before founding Cropin, he served as the COO at CropIn Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd and was previously a Manager of Sales Marketing at Tata Motors.
