Kunal Parikh, a renowned biomedical engineer and entrepreneur, is dedicated to creating innovative social enterprises at the intersection of healthcare and technology. As a former CEO and co-founder of successful healthcare ventures, including Access HEARS and Core Quantum Technologies, Dr. Parikh boasts vast experience in building, advising, and funding companies that provide technology-based solutions to significant health challenges. Dr. Parikh is a faculty member at Johns Hopkins University, where he leads the Center for Bioengineering Innovation & Design and Wilmer Eye Institute. He has collaborated with engineers, scientists, and clinicians to improve medical technology and commercialize solutions to address unmet medical needs globally. Dr. Parikh also founded The Global Institute for Vision Equity, where he advocates for people's access to affordable and quality eye care. Additionally, Kunal was previously the advisor to dozens of mission-driven entrepreneurs as the founder of the Social Innovation Lab at JHU.
