Krupal Modi is the VP of Engineering, ML at Haptik, overseeing machine learning initiatives focused on Natural Language Understanding, particularly in Conversational AI.

Krupal specializes in solving complex problems by developing innovative engineering solutions and leading R&D efforts.

Under his leadership, advanced NLU capabilities have been integrated into the Haptik platform, supporting over 400 Enterprise Virtual Assistants and handling millions of training and inference calls daily.

Krupal's work has enabled virtual agents created using the Haptik platform to reach 500 million devices and process 4 billion customer requests.

He has presented papers at prestigious conferences like EMNLP and AAAI, contributes to the developer community through blogs and code samples, and was named a 40 under 40 Data Scientist at the Machine Learning Developer Summit in 2019.

Krupal Modi is part of the Google Developer Expert program, known for his expertise in machine learning.

Krupal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

Prior to his tenure at Haptik, Krupal gained experience as a Project Engineer at Wipro Technologies and as a Research Trainee at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories.
