AP/AR Manager

Lead and motivate team members to achieve goals that contributes to the growth of our organization. Monitor performance and hold team members accountable. Working in AP and AR to improve processes that will enhance timeliness, transparency, and accuracy.  Handle escalated calls/issues and work with insurance adjusters, insureds and management. Audit and reconcile files for billing and payables. Working with Microsoft Dynamics and other proprietary systems. 

•	Lead all areas of AP day to day process, driving process change across the department and across the end to end process, through working and influencing cross functionally.
•	Created a vendor audit process using proprietary systems and vendor bills to improve timeliness and accuracy.  
•	Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). 
•	Overseeing routine department activities to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time.
•	Building and maintaining relationships with team members, clients, and vendors.

Accounting-AP Manager

Promoted to Supervisor after 6 months. Implemented variety of process improvements that enhanced timeliness, transparency, and accuracy of AP and AR groups. Oversaw AP/AR for over 100 corporate, operating, and real estate entities. Acted as point of contact to departments, management, tenants, and corporate stakeholders for all AP/AR matters. Managed vendor files to ensure proper documentation. Processed and tracked vendor payments. Maintained vendor relations. Processed new customer credit applications. Collected outstanding debts. Managed performance of AP/AR staff and hold team members accountable for performance.

•	Enabled 20% cost savings by leading transition to paperless AP and AR operations.

AR/AP Supervisor

Prepared and reconciled invoices for convention groups. Performed financial transactions such as preparing journal entries and reconciling expenses using a PMS (performance management software) system. Reviewed client contracts and enter billing instructions and/or rate exceptions. Worked directly with client event managers and CEOs.

•	Managed billing for 30 groups per month with revenue of up to $12 million per group.
•	Maintained low aging, keeping all accounts within 60 days.
•	Worked with directors and managers of every department to reconcile all charges to client master accounts.
•	Managed full accounts receivable lifecycle, from invoicing through payment.
•	Participated in test group to restructure department and improve client relations.
