Kristofer Madu is a cross-industry professional with over $100 billion transaction experience, a manager of a World Champion racecar driver, and a four-time founder of capital-backed startups. Prior to his current roles, he was involved in the music industry, touring as an artist, releasing albums, and running a Clean Water nonprofit funded by his music earnings, benefitting over 10,000 women, children, and families in Nigeria.
Transitioning from the music industry, Kristofer ventured into entrepreneurship, finance, M&A, and investing. He co-founded a successful music-driven ed-tech company called "First Friday's Group," which grew rapidly, attracted investments, and gained national recognition. With the pivot brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, he found his niche in Investment Banking, joining Morgan Stanley's M&A group and executing approximately $60 billion in announced transactions across various industries.
Kristofer Madu also spent time at Warner Music Group working on notable deals involving companies like $META, $SNAP, Instagram, David Guetta/Roblox, among others. In addition to his professional pursuits, he enjoys building websites, writing articles, and managing racecar champion Fraser McConnell. His educational background includes a Master's degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS and a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by various fellowships and programs at institutions like Harvard Business School and SEO. He has been associated with prestigious organizations such as Morgan Stanley, The Recording Academy, Rebel One, and Techstars, to name a few.
