Kristina Zakurdaeva, M.D., Ph.D., has an impressive background as a Chief Medical Officer at Gero, a drug discovery biotech company. She is a scientific advisor for oncology and has headed oncology R&D projects in the Biomed Cluster of the Skolkovo Foundation, where she successfully launched the Cancer Center of Excellence. Kristina has a strong clinical and scientific background, as well as excellent business experience. With a degree in internal medicine and hematology, as well as a Ph.D. in genetics of acute leukemia, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and co-authored a scientific discovery. Furthermore, in 2017, Kristina set up the Foundation for Cancer Research Support, where she currently serves as a Chair of the Board of Directors.
