Kristina Krause

Kristina Krause is a dedicated design researcher with a focus on healthcare, specializing in creating solutions for systemic and structural change.

Her educational background includes a Master of Science in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington, a Master of Arts in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent, and a Certificate in Web Design from Seattle Central Community College.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Fine Arts from The George Washington University, Kristina brings a diverse academic foundation to her work.

Currently, Kristina serves as the Principal Design Researcher at athenahealth, building on her previous roles as the Lead Design Researcher and Senior User Experience Researcher within the same organization.

Her past experiences include positions such as Research Coordinator at Internews Network, User Researcher at Aditi Litehouse, and Instructor of Web Design at Seattle Central College.

Kristina has also held various research and teaching roles at the University of Washington and the University of Kent, showcasing her versatility and expertise in academia and industry.
