Kristin Rosengren

Kristin Rosengren is the Vice President of Strategic Communications at AcademyHealth, where she leads the organization's public relations, marketing, membership, and advocacy efforts.1 As a member of AcademyHealth's leadership team, she guides the development of messaging and outreach to support the organization's mission, build relationships with stakeholders, and increase awareness of health services research.1

Rosengren also serves as co-director of the AcademyHealth Translation and Dissemination Institute, which seeks, tests, and promotes innovative approaches to moving knowledge into action.1 She has 20 years of experience in health care communications, including strategic planning, media relations, crisis communications, message development, and speaker training.1

Prior to joining AcademyHealth, Rosengren worked at Ketchum Public Relations in Washington, D.C., and McNeely, Pigott & Fox in Nashville, Tennessee, providing strategic communications counsel to clients in the health care and pharmaceutical industries.1 Her clients have included health care providers, payers, voluntary health organizations, and health technology companies.1

Rosengren holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations from the University of Georgia.1 Her areas of expertise include strategic communications, translation and dissemination, and public relations.1
