Kristin LaBuz

Kristin LaBuz is an urbanist who is dedicated to promoting openness and inclusivity in cities through strategic communications, programming, and resource development.

She holds a Master's degree in City Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies and Communications from Case Western Reserve University.

Kristin LaBuz has held various key positions in different organizations, including Deputy Director for Development and Communications at openhousenewyork, Active Design at New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Director of Individual Giving & Special Events at New York Restoration Project, Neighborhood Leadership Fellow at Coro New York Leadership Center, Director of Marketing and Events at DUMBO Improvement District, Development and Communications Associate at Design Trust for Public Space, and Analyst at Fairmount Ventures.
