Managing Director of Capital Markets and Business Development

I am currently the Managing Director of Business Development at Altamont Capital Partners, a private equity firm with over $4 billion in capital under management, focused primarily on making long term, control investments in middle market businesses. In this role, I source new investment opportunities across North America and manage the intermediary network across the firm, working closely with the investment team to pursue opportunities in our core verticals.

Prior to Altamont Capital, I was a Principal in the fundraising group at TPG Capital, where I helped raise capital for the firm’s TPG Capital, TPG Growth and TPG Biotech funds.  In addition, I helped manage investor relations, including portfolio reviews, the firm’s annual investor meetings and identifying new potential sources of capital.

Prior to TPG, I was a Managing Director in Morgan Stanley’s corporate finance department for 10 years, focused on working with private equity clients. In this role, I worked with private equity clients on new acquisitions, including providing financing advice and capital as well as M&A support. I also worked with private equity firms to monetize portfolio company investments, including taking companies public and executing sale transactions.  In addition, I was involved in strategic discussions with senior partners considering monetization and growth capital raising alternatives, including going public and raising minority capital.
