Lead teams focused on serving customers and improving our e-commerce programs. Our Customer Care program manages customer feedback across phone, email, chat and social media, and serves as the voice of the customer to spark operational excellence in the business. The E-Commerce Enablement team leads e-commerce proofs of concept, pilots and national program launches to drive innovation across our e-commerce programs.

Clients include: Whole Foods Market, Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Edible Austin, Effective Edge, Aviat Networks, H-E-B and Edible Communities.

Principal

Deliver a transformational, personal productivity course and one-on-one coaching to national and international corporate clients. Manage client accounts by booking additional trainings, providing post-course follow-up and needs analysis.  Lead development and design of new courses. Write, design and distribute monthly electronic newsletter.  Support CEO in writing books, articles and speeches.  Manage accreditation of international trainers by verifying their certification requirements and providing regular forums and tools for discussion and support. Support the team by providing IT analysis and developing IT policies.

Senior Trainer/Training Quality Lead

Led fundraising and marketing efforts for the organization including solicitations to individuals, corporations, foundations, and public entities through grant writing, building strong long-term relationships with donors and identifying prospective donors who share interest in PeopleFund’s mission. Planned and executed all public events for the organization.  Supported the Board of Directors staff and volunteers in fundraising and public relations efforts.  Created and updated all marketing materials including the website.   Served as informal technology lead, identifying solutions to leverage our limited funds and staff effectively.

Development Director

Managed the Austin office of Congressman Lloyd Doggett.  Served as primary local advisor to the Congressman and represented him at meetings and special events.  Helped constituents with complex federal issues resolve their problems in a timely fashion. Assisted with press events and releases held in the District.  Assisted non-profit and local government entities with federal grants and appropriation requests. Drafted speeches and correspondence for the Congressman.

District Director

Developed, maintained and broadened contact with groups, communities and opinion leaders in the 10th Congressional district.  Personally represented the Congressman at an average of 10 meetings and special events each week; worked with local government officials and entities; and planned special events for the Congressman in Austin.

Field Director

Managed staff of computer application and technical trainers, first in Austin (15 trainers) and then in Houston (25 trainers). Oversaw the development of all custom course training materials.  Supervised technical support team of three people who provided IT systems support for 60 site employees and 24 classrooms. Assisted in the opening of the PPI Houston facilities and the merger of three separate training companies.

Training Manager

Taught certified technical courses in Microsoft Visual Basic and Novell’s GroupWise messaging system.  Taught application courses in popular business software applications from Microsoft, WordPerfect, Lotus and Borland.  Assisted in course and material development for customized client courses.  Managed the planning, development and delivery of database programming consulting projects by PPI staff and contractors. Participated in consulting projects as a member of the database development team.

Technical Trainer & Consultant

Taught application courses in popular business software applications from Microsoft, WordPerfect, Lotus and Borland.  Maintained > 90 percent average in student evaluations.  Assisted in the writing, editing and proofing of Lotus 1-2-3, WordPerfect, and Microsoft Word training guides authored and published by Napier and Judd, Inc.
