Kristi Ebong
Conversational AI for healthcare
Kristi Ebong is a well-respected healthcare industry leader with extensive experience in emerging technologies, provider systems, and cross-vertical health organizations. She is currently the Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy for Orbita, a premier conversational AI platform for healthcare. At Orbita, Kristi helps power chatbots and voicebots for the digital front door, bedside assistants, and population health/in-home monitoring. Before joining Orbita, Kristi served as the Head of Emerging Technology at Cedars-Sinai Health System. In this role, she advised on new and emerging technology, and launched the Cedars-Sinai Accelerator Powered by Techstars.
Kristi started her career working in implementation and product development at Epic Systems, a company that focuses on electronic health record deployment across hospital systems. Afterward, she became a management consultant for Stockamp & Associates, where she led operational and revenue performance improvement for hospital systems.
Kristi holds an MBA and MPH from The Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and global security from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is also an advisor to global thought leadership consultancy HealthXL and serves on the advisory board for The Johns Hopkins University Carey School of Business.
Kristi's previous work experience includes roles at Healthspottr, the US Department of Health and Human Services Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She currently resides in San Francisco with her husband and three children. Despite residing in San Francisco, Kristi misses the water sports and farmers markets of a Minnesota summer.
