Kristen Shelley

Kristen Shelley is a skilled physical therapist currently working at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Delaware and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.

During her academic journey, Kristen conducted her capstone research under the guidance of Karin Grävare Silbernagel PT, ATC, PhD, leading to her co-authoring a study focusing on 'Extended field of view Ultrasound imaging to evaluate Achilles tendon structure.' This research was accepted for presentation at the APTA's Combined Sections Meeting in 2015.

Before joining Premier, Kristen engaged in providing dance medicine rehabilitation for the Charlotte Ballet during her time as a student physical therapist. Her background as a former dancer and dance instructor has instilled in her a profound passion for the arts and helping young dancers.

Her professional experience includes roles at various institutions such as Maven Clinic, Performance Ready Physical Therapy, Greg Ott Center for Physical Therapy, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Southern Delaware Physical Therapy, and Bayhealth. Additionally, she has served as the Manager and Dance Instructor at Abundance Academy of Dance.
