Kristen Sauer

Kristen Sauer is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Programs & Events Specialist in University Advancement at Boston College.

With a background as a Development Assistant for Leadership Giving in the same University Advancement department, Kristen has gained valuable experience in the field.

Her internship experiences include working as an Intern in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Development and the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, as well as a Special Events Assistant for Expect Miracles Foundation.

Kristen is a proud alumna of Boston College Carroll School of Management, holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) earned in May 2021.

She also graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public and Community Service Studies, along with minors in Mathematics and Business Studies.

During her studies in Public and Community Service Studies, Kristen delved into the principles of community values, service, compassion, social justice, and leadership, actively engaging with communities as a Community Assistant bridging Providence College and a local organization.

In the field of Mathematics, Kristen has excelled, completing advanced courses including Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra, Foundations of Mathematics, and Advanced Applied Mathematics, showcasing proficiency in problem-solving, critical thinking, data analysis, and MS Excel.

Her leadership abilities shine through her involvement in Student Congress as the Secretary Class of 2017 and as a Member on the Committee of Outreach, highlighting her commitment to student governance and community engagement.

Kristen's professional journey includes pivotal roles in prestigious organizations such as Boston College and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, demonstrating her expertise in program management, event coordination, development, and fundraising.
