Kristen Mitchell

Kristen Mitchell is an accomplished individual with a background in Fine Arts Management and Leadership Studies.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Richmond and a Diploma in Fundraising from the University of Plymouth.

In her professional journey, Kristen has held various roles in the fundraising sector, showcasing her expertise in individual giving and donor relations.

She currently serves as the Director Of Individual Giving at Roundabout Theatre Company, where she leads initiatives to secure donations and support for the organization.

Prior to her role at Roundabout Theatre Company, Kristen Mitchell gained valuable experience at Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater.

During her time at Arena Stage, she held several positions including Senior Director of Individual Giving, Assistant Director of Individual Giving, Assistant Director of Membership, Membership Manager, C.A.S.T./Donor Relations Manager, Development Assistant, and Allen Lee Hughes Development Fellow.

Her diverse experience at Arena Stage allowed her to develop a deep understanding of fundraising strategies and donor engagement.

Before her tenure at Arena Stage, Kristen Mitchell worked as a Development Intern at Richmond Ballet, gaining insights into the arts and culture sector.

Kristen's educational background, coupled with her extensive professional experience, has equipped her with the skills needed to excel in the field of fundraising and individual giving.

Her contributions to the organizations she has been a part of highlight her commitment to fostering relationships with donors and securing vital support for the arts.
