Kristen Howell

Kristen Howell is an educational leader who has made significant strides in driving innovation and change in classrooms, schools, and systems. With a strong background in managing multimillion-dollar initiatives that involve public and private partnerships, Howell has expanded the boundaries of traditional education models to develop effective programs, products, and services for learners. She studied Masters in Policy Organization and Leadership Studies from Stanford University School of Education and obtained her BA in English/ Cultural Anthropology from Duke University.

Howell's experience and skills extend to designing, implementing, and evaluating innovative programs while also applying user end-design modalities to complex problems. She currently works as a partner at Education Elements and previously served in director-level roles at Leap Innovations, where she oversaw growth and partnerships among other responsibilities. She was also a strategy, innovation, and fund development specialist at San Francisco Unified School District, where she was credited for developing and supporting transformative initiatives.

In addition, Howell's experience includes serving as a strategy and development fellow at Education Pioneers, where she helped develop new educational policies and practices.
