Krista Baptista

Krista Jones Baptista is the Executive Director of Data2X, a data and digital inclusion specialist with over 20 years of experience in international development.23 She previously served as the Global Director of DAI Global LLC's Center for Digital Acceleration (CDA), where she led data initiatives and digital development projects.3

Krista holds a Master of Arts in international economics from Johns Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and an undergraduate degree in cultural geography from Clark University.3 She is an adjunct professor at SAIS, teaching graduate students about digital development and innovative uses of technology in emerging markets.3

In her professional capacity, Krista:
