What started as a visionary concept in a small office in Bangalore in 2010 has grown into the world's leading agri-ecosystem intelligence provider. Cropin has digitized 16 million acres of farmland, benefiting over 7 million farmers across 56 countries. The company's innovative approach includes building a vast crop knowledge graph encompassing 400 crops and 10,000 varieties globally.
With the cutting-edge AI/ML-enabled Insights platform tailored for the agriculture sector, Cropin has analyzed 0.2 billion acres of farmland in 12 countries, covering 24 major commodities. The ultimate ambition is to compute all cultivable land on the planet to empower the global agriculture ecosystem.
Krishna Kumar's educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University. He also pursued Senior Secondary education in Mathematics and Statistics at St. Xavier's School Hazaribag.
