Kris Russell

Kris Russell is a systems thinker and passionate leader with a focus on sustainability and driving positive impacts. He has a strong background in implementing sustainability solutions that reduce costs, increase access to capital, improve resilience, enhance employee and community engagement, and protect natural resources. Kris excels in creating enterprise sustainability programs aligned with strategic plans and is dedicated to continuous learning and achieving ambitious goals.

Kris studied Biology, Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation obtaining a B.S. degree from The University of Texas at Austin and pursued an M.S. in Environmental Science at the University of North Texas.

With a wealth of experience, Kris has served in various roles including Senior Manager at Armanino LLP, ACRP Project Oversight Panels at Transportation Research Board with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, Environmental Program Manager at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), Environmental Investigator at Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, and Environmental Scientist Internship at US EPA.
