Kris Reyes is a highly experienced multimedia journalist with over 15 years of expertise in broadcast and digital newsrooms. Holding a BA in Political Science from De La Salle University and a Post-grad Diploma in Journalism from Centennial College, she has led various teams in the US and Canada as an anchor, host, producer, and reporter.

Kris is a seasoned storyteller, who knows the importance of humanizing a story to facilitate important conversations and build bridges. During her service at San Francisco-based AJ+, her short documentaries garnered almost 20 Million views on various social media platforms. From 2011-2016, she also launched a national morning show and 7 local newscasts, where she served as a lead anchor and spearheaded content creation and reporting for all her shows. Her team won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow award in 2017.

Currently working as a reporter for ABC7 News, Kris covers stories all over the Bay Area. She is a well-rounded journalist, who believes in the power of a story to spark conversation, effect positive change, and touch people's hearts.
