Kresten pursued his education by earning a Master of Science in Political Science from the University of Aarhus. This academic background laid a strong foundation for his career in public affairs and government relations.

Throughout his career, Kresten held various key positions at Vestas, a prominent company in the energy sector. He has served as the Vice President and Head of Global Public Affairs, where he showcased his leadership and strategic skills.

Prior to his role as VP, Kresten served in several other essential roles at Vestas, including Senior Director/Head of Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs; Director/Head of Marketing, Communications, Market Intelligence & Public Affairs; Senior Policy Specialist/Head of EU Affairs; Policy Specialist/Head of Public Affairs Denmark; Strategy Project Manager/Executive Management Assistant to Group SVP; and Policy Analyst/Advisor.

Before joining Vestas, Kresten Christensen honed his skills as a Student Assistant at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, demonstrating his early commitment to public service and government affairs.
