Koohyar Vahidkhah

Koohyar Vahidkhah is a mechanical engineer specializing in computational modeling and simulation within the fluid/thermal sciences field.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran.

In terms of work experience, Koohyar has held the position of Advanced CFD Application Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Previously, he was an Application Engineer at Siemens Digital Industries Software and also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the DU Cardiovascular Biomechanics Lab at University of Denver.

His academic contribution includes roles such as Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University, as well as various research positions at Rutgers CFD Lab and Biofluids Lab at Tehran Polytechnic.
