Komal Kumar is a dedicated student in the social sciences with a passion for community-based research, equitable education, and ethical social impact.

Komal Kumar studied Political Science and South Asian Studies for a BA at Stanford University, expanding their knowledge with study abroad programs at University of Oxford, Ashoka University, and pre-college programs at Brown University. They excelled academically, achieving the status of Valedictorian at Hercules High School.

In their professional journey, Komal Kumar has served as a Research Assistant at the Intimate Partner Violence Research Lab at Stanford University School of Medicine, showcasing a commitment to important social issues. They also contributed as a Writing Tutor and Student Library Assistant at Stanford University, displaying versatile skills.

Komal Kumar has been involved in various organizations, including being a former Researcher at Team Uplifting Panjab, Co-Director of Mentorship at South Asian Winter Camp (SAWC), and ED Clinical Research Coordinator at Stanford University School of Medicine. They have also interned at the International Human Rights and Conflict Resolution Clinic at Stanford Law School and worked as a tutor at Kumon North America, Inc.
