Kiry Nelsen

Kiry Nelsen is a highly educated professional with a diverse background in law and environmental science.

She holds a Masters of Marine Affairs from the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs at the University of Washington, a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Washington School of Law, and a BA in Environmental Science from Willamette University.

Kiry has gained valuable experience through various roles, including serving as an Assistant Attorney General at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General and as an Associate at Perkins Coie LLP.

Her previous positions include Associate Editor in Chief and Student Editor at the Washington Law Review, Co-President of the UW Environmental Law Society, and Research Assistant at the University of Washington School of Marine and Environmental Affairs.

She has also interned at the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution and worked as a Paralegal Specialist at the U.S. Department of Justice, Environment and Natural Resources Division.
