Kirsty Barrowman

Kirsty Barrowman, a top resilience leader and head of resilience at Policing, is responsible for ensuring the safety of three million members of the public in the West Midlands Police area. With a BSc Disaster Management and Emergency Planning degree from Coventry University and a National Certificate Uniformed Public Services, Distinction, Merit from Henley College, Kirsty has extensive knowledge in emergency management and response. She has accomplished several industry firsts including leading the first Cyber Prepare multi-agency partners in the country and establishing national ebola guidance for all UK police forces. Kirsty's team delivers an ambitious training and exercise program for the Strategic and Tactical Commanders to maintain the highest standards of response.

Kirsty is a skilled collaborator, collaborating with all three tiers of the police and other partners to achieve bold innovations in resilience and partnership working. She has a proactive outlook and sets high standards of quality, smart delivery, and national leading service.
