    Kirk Stinchcombe is the founder of Econics, a company established in 2009 that specializes in offering innovative demand-management planning, demand forecasting, watershed management, and communications services to municipal water service providers.

    With a background in environmental management, Kirk previously served as the Manager of Operational Policy with the BC Ministry of Environment's Water Stewardship Division. Prior to that role, he managed regional programs and significant budgets during Australia's seven-year Millennium Drought with the Queensland government.

    Currently, Kirk Stinchcombe serves as a special advisor to the University of Victoria's POLIS Water Sustainability Project and holds the position of vice-chair at the Alliance for Water Efficiency, a non-profit organization headquartered in Chicago that advocates for water efficiency and sustainability in North America.

    His educational background includes an MBA in Marketing from Griffith University, a MES in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, and a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria.

    Throughout his career, Kirk has held key positions such as Managing Director at Econics, Co-Founder and CEO at Waterworth, Manager of Operational Policy and Planning at the BC Ministry of Environment, Project Director at the Queensland Treasury Corporation, and Demand Management Coordinator at Gold Coast Water.
