Kion Nemati

Kion Nemati, PE, is a highly educated professional in the field of structural engineering with a solid background in architectural engineering and structural engineering.

He obtained his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from the University of California, San Diego.

Currently, Kion serves as a Structural Engineer at Arup, a prominent organization known for its innovative and cutting-edge engineering solutions.

Prior to his role at Arup, Kion gained valuable experience through various internship positions, including as a Structural Engineering Intern at both Arup and Barrish Pelham & Associates, Inc., as well as internships at HLNP Design, Turner Construction, and Ghilotti Bros., Inc., where he honed his skills in different aspects of the construction industry.

In addition to his internships, Kion also actively contributed to the community as a 3D Modeling Instructor, Tutor, and Mentor at Oakland Science and Math Outreach, showcasing his passion for education and outreach activities.
