Kinneret Kohn is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for museum education, believing in the transformative power of art and artifacts within communities.
Kohn completed her education with a BA in International Studies from The Ohio State University, an MA in International Education Development and Peace Education from Teachers College of Columbia University, and an M.S. Ed in Leadership in Museum Education from Bank Street College of Education.
Her career includes prominent positions such as Associate Director for Students & Educators at the Art Institute of Chicago, where she has also held the role of Assistant Director for Student Learning.
Kohn has been involved with various organizations, including serving on the Steering Committee of the Chicago Cultural Accessibility Consortium and as President of the Board of Trustees at the New York City Museum Educators Roundtable.
She has a rich background in museum education, having worked in diverse roles at institutions such as the New-York Historical Society, Brooklyn Children's Museum, The Jewish Museum, and The American Folk Art Museum.
