Kimindra Tiwana is a highly qualified pharmacist with a passion for healthcare delivery and system improvements. With extensive experience in clinical activities, pharmaceutical care, medication reconciliation, system integration and user acceptance testing, Kimindra has proven her capability in leading and managing projects that involve the design and implementation of medication safety systems. She has also been actively involved in the design, implementation and management of computerized physician order entry systems, which have altered the clinical and operational workflow at several hospitals. In addition, Kimindra brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She obtained her BSc. Pharm in Pharmacy from Dalhousie University before moving on to roles such as Patient Safety Specialist at University Health Network and Clinical Analyst at Mount Sinai Hospital. Other notable positions include former Project Manager at UHN and Engagement and Change Management Lead at Ontario Telemedicine Network.
