I write and edit for nonprofits, helping them raise awareness and increase donations by telling stories, stories of Ukrainians who fled the war and now stand in line at a food pantry in Dobbs Ferry, NY, and exploring why far more women than men seek help from a food pantry. As a freelancer for Report for America I've worked on several projects editing website text for this nonprofit, which aims to strengthen our democracy by placing reporters in local news outlets in need of journalists tackling critical issues.

• Wrote stories that engaged readers by addressing concerns that consumers said were their top priorities, and by following trends. Lively and clearly written, these stories, as a group, led in generating digital subscriptions, and engaged consumers on social media

• Worked as part of a team to help keep people safe by writing stories that alerted readers to both everyday products that pose hazards and defective products that were recalled from stores
