As the Talent Acquisition Leader, I lead Horizon's recruiting team, which includes Executive, International and Contingent Labor. I collaborate with HR team members, cross-functional partners and Horizon's leaders to design, develop and lead the implementation of highly effective, results-driven recruiting processes, tool and strategies. I am an advisor to the business, communicating, influencing, and championing best practices to ensure we are hiring a highly talented and diverse workforce. I make decisions informed by data and leverage my experiences to bring new and innovative strategies to further evolve our talent acquisition approach, which is a critical enabler of our long-term global growth strategy. I play a key role in advancing Horizon's commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity through best-in-class hiring strategies.

In this role, I managed the daily aspects of a large team of recruiting Functional Specialists and Recruiting Coordinators in providing OneMars cross-segment recruitment expertise on all aspects of the hiring process for experienced hire.  A key focus of this role was to ensure Mars has the right balance of requisitions spread across the recruiting & recruiting coordinator resources to deliver services to the business in a high-quality manner and in line with established service level agreements and support for senior executive-level talent search efforts; proactively building a pipeline of potential candidates and managing expected and unexpected attrition that align with Mars Five Principles while continually promoting Mars employer reputation. Additionally, I played a key role in providing full life-cycle recruitment activities support to meet hiring volumes, decision support and oversight to meet the hiring demand to secure Mars business objectives. I was also responsible for creating and implementing a EI&D strategy that was ambitious and actionable in support of Mars global EI&D strategic pillars. 
I successfully completed Mars' 9 month Great Line Managers Experience Program (GLMe) focused on developing leadership competencies and capabilities.

Global Talent Acquisition Leader dedicated to the design and continuous improvement of best practices in all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process. My focus was on understanding industry best practices, gaps and opportunities in Baxter’s process, and partnering with various stakeholders within HR and the business to develop and implement innovative practices globally.  
Specific areas of focus were on change management, customer experience, process & systems, assessments and training and special projects such as RPO and Alight HR Portal implementation team. I took on additional responsibilities of leading our Talent Direct team of recruiters focused on executive hiring as well as the Compliance team focused on AAP/EEOC, KPIs & measurement and headcount approval process.

Sr. Manager, Global Talent Acquisition Operations

In this role, I was the Strategic Account Leader for our Global Functions and Commercial organizations. I was the Talent Acquisition subject matter expert and strategic business partner for the Human Resources Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team and was responsible for driving the overall Talent Acquisition strategy and process execution within the business to ensure Baxter was attracting and hiring top talent. I was responsible for C-Suite requisitions while leading a team of six talent acquisition professionals ranging in experience. I ensured recruiting best practices were implemented, service level agreements were followed and a robust pipeline of candidates were developed for complex positions across the business by leveraging employee referrals and social networks while understanding the supply and demand for talent in the marketplace. I managed a monthly dashboard which included time-to-accept, candidate slate, source of hire, cost per hire and hiring manager satisfaction scores.  My team had on average 350 hires per year with average time-to-accept of 50 days with minimal agency usage and hiring manager satisfaction scores greater than 85% very satisfied.  I was a Champion of Inclusion and Diversity and led the Talent Acquisition Liaison (BRG) team, building education, sourcing practices and targeted goals into our process.

In this role I developed, executed, and managed proactive recruitment strategies to attract top talent while developing strong partnerships with the Talent Acquisition team. I also managed the relationship with our India Sourcing team, which was responsible for talent mapping of candidates and talent acquisition metrics and reporting. I was responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the marketplace and built on established networks and innovative techniques. I also oversaw Baxter's job board/recruitment technology partnerships, job distribution tool, recruitment advertising agency, and contingent labor process and partners. I monitored the ROI of Baxter's third party vendors and staffing metrics to ensure our recruiters had the tools they need to do their job successfully. Most recently, I managed the Talent Acquisition Operations team, who supported our applicant tracking system, offer letter process, background checks, and AAP.

As part of the Global Functions Human Resources team, I was responsible for supporting multiple corporate functions. I provided talent acquisition leadership and services to my hiring managers, following the company's service level agreement.
