Climate Change Ecologist - Climate Resilience Project Manager, North America Science at The Nature Conservancy
Kimberly Hall is a climate change ecologist with a focus on assessing the impact of climate change on natural systems and wild species in the Great Lakes and Great Plains regions. She specializes in drought impacts in North America and uses spatial analysis approaches to understand climate change sensitivity and adaptive capacity, including connectivity tools. Kimberly collaborates with various partners to implement actions that enhance the resilience of species and ecosystems to climate change and ensure the provision of essential services like clean water.
Kimberly Hall holds a PhD and MS in Conservation Biology from the University of Michigan, and an AB in Biology from Dartmouth College. She also attended Pittsford-Sutherland High School.
With her extensive background and experience, Kimberly has held roles such as Climate Resilience Project Manager at The Nature Conservancy, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Michigan State University's Department of Forestry, and has worked as the Great Lakes Climate Change Ecologist at The Nature Conservancy. Additionally, she has served as a Post-Doc and Research Assistant Professor at Michigan State University.
