Kimberly Clay is a highly experienced nonprofit executive with a strong background in STEM and sports industries. She is a former academician holding a PhD in public health and is dual trained in social work and communications. Kimberly has conducted scholarly research in cancer prevention and survivorship.
Kimberly's educational background includes a PhD in Health Education/Promotion from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Tulane University School of Social Work, an MPH in Community Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and a BA in Mass Communication from Xavier University of Louisiana.
She is the Founder & CEO of Play Like a Girl!®, a former Adjunct Professor at Southern Methodist University, a former Assistant Professor at The University of Georgia, and has also worked as a Public Health Advisor at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
