Kim Yuan-Farrell is an accomplished executive director with a passion for environmental conservation and development. With a Master's degree in Environmental Management, with an emphasis on social ecology, from Yale University, and a Bachelor's in Anthropology and Environmental Studies from Santa Clara University, Yuan-Farrell has honed her skills and developed her expertise to become a leader in the field.
Prior to her role as Executive Director at The Park People, she served as a Program Manager at the same organization, a Community Forester at the Hixon Center for Urban Ecology's Urban Resources Initiative, and as a Programs Coordinator and Conservation Intern at the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society. She has also served as a Board Member at Community Shares.
As a specialist in social ecology, Yuan-Farrell digs into the intersections of environmental conservation and development. Her particular skillset is in community engagement and management, working with diverse groups to create effective and equitable conservation programs.
