Kim Nguyen

Kim Xuan Nguyen is a highly motivated individual with a passion for academic accounting research, focusing on income tax accounting, disclosure quality, and corporate governance topics.

Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Accounting at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, Kim's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financial Management as well as a Master of Accounting (MAcc), both from the University of Waterloo.

Prior to his doctoral studies, Kim gained valuable experience working at prestigious organizations such as EY and Deloitte in roles ranging from Senior Professional Practice to Tax Analyst.

His diverse professional background also includes positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Waterloo, Financial Analyst at Onex, Staff Accountant at EY, and various other roles within academia and the public service sector.

Kim's keen interest in exploring the intersection of accounting, tax, and corporate governance reflects his enthusiasm for new challenges and intellectual pursuits.
