Kim Lane

Kim Lane is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Right to Start, a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding entrepreneurial opportunities for all. She has a strong background in supporting startup communities globally as a Senior Advisor for the Global Entrepreneurship Network.

Professional Experience::

• Facebook: Kim worked in strategy and operations, where she was instrumental in scaling programs aimed at upskilling college students and connecting them with job opportunities, thereby addressing brain drain in local communities across the U.S. She held various roles within Facebook, including positions focused on social impact and community support initiatives.
• Kauffman Foundation: She spent a decade working with this foundation to develop its entrepreneurship support program, "1 Million Cups."
• Conductor: As the founding CEO of this organization in Arkansas, she supported rural and underserved entrepreneurs and co-launched the state’s first industry-based accelerator for healthcare startups.

Awards and Recognition:: Kim has received multiple accolades for her contributions to entrepreneurship in Arkansas, including being named Arkansan of the Year and recognized in the "40 Under 40" list.

Community Involvement:: She is actively involved in community service as a board member of the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas and served as a governor-appointed commissioner to the Arkansas Women’s Commission in 2023.
