Kim Houston is a dedicated photographer specializing in children and family portraiture outdoors, with a passion for creating visual stories and beautiful imagery.

With a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the School of Visual Arts and a background in photography and poetry from Hampshire College, Kim brings a deep understanding of the art of photography to her work.

Throughout her career, Kim has honed her skills in photo editing, color correction, image manipulation using software like Photoshop CC, and working with studio equipment such as Profoto strobe lights and continuous lighting.

She has collaborated with various publications like Brides local magazines, Brides.com, Epicurious.com, and Gourmet Live, creating stunning still life images and directing photography shoots for beauty and shopping features.

Kim's experience extends to web production, design, and photo research, having worked at respected organizations like Condé Nast, Fairchild Fashion Media, and Silver Editions.

Apart from her photography work, Kim has been actively involved in teaching ethics to children at the Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture and leading activities at Tinkergarten.
