Kil-Young Yu
Team Acupuncturist at Golden State Warriors
Kil-Young "Ky" Yu is a professional acupuncturist with a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). He earned his master's degree in TCM in 2006 from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) .1 Yu has extensive experience working with professional sports teams, having served as the Team Acupuncturist for the Golden State Warriors for five seasons (2013-2018), during which the team won three NBA championships. He also worked with the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons (2014-2018) .12
In addition to his work with sports teams, Yu has contributed to the wellness community by working at the Facebook Wellness Center and Highland Hospital's Division of Integrative Medicine. Currently, he runs a private practice named AcuAthletics in Cookeville, Tennessee .1 Yu's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill .3
