Kierra Pittman

Kierra Pittman is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Journalism, with a focus on Public Relations, along with minors in Entrepreneurship and Social and Economic Justice. She has a passion for creative writing, innovation, and advocacy, which she is channeling to make an impact in communications.

Throughout her academic career, Kierra was actively involved in various organizations, including serving as a PR Coordinator for UNC Accessibility Resources and Services (APPLES), a Student Ambassador for Access, Diversity, and Inclusion, and a Media and Public Relations Intern at The Sonja Haynes Stone Center. Additionally, she worked at McKinney, a Raleigh-based advertising agency, as an Agency Communications Intern, and at Sweat + Co as an Account Coordinator.
