Kieran McGowan

Kieran McGowan is recognized as the youngest ever Master's graduate from UC Berkeley’s MEng program, a prestigious initiative aimed at nurturing the next generation of engineering leaders.

Currently serving as an Engineering Lead at Hummingbot, Kieran has established himself as a prominent figure in the tech industry.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Kieran exhibits a passion for music, with a penchant for playing various musical instruments, as well as interests in sports such as tennis, ice hockey, and skiing, alongside a love for travel.

His educational journey includes achieving an IB score of 41/45 at Queensland Academy for Health Sciences, completing a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a remarkable GPA of 3.84 at UC Berkeley, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Imperial College London, and attending The Southport School.

Kieran has held key roles in several organizations, including his current position at hummingbot.io as an Engineering Lead, previously serving as the Founding Director at Life Global Australia, and gaining valuable experience in software engineering and research roles at UC Berkeley, Swell Asset, and Envirosax Pty Ltd.
