Kiara Kulisic is the CEO of CHIQA, a company she founded to create ethical wigs, particularly for women affected by hair loss conditions such as alopecia. Her inspiration for starting the business came from her own experience with alopecia, prompting her to focus on providing employment opportunities for women in regions where job prospects are limited due to cultural barriers.
Under Kulisic's leadership, CHIQA aims to empower women by offering them a means of livelihood through wig-making, while also addressing the stigma associated with hair loss. The company is already looking to expand its operations to other communities that could benefit from similar initiatives.1
