    Kiana Cox is a Senior Researcher at the Pew Research Center, where she specializes in the Race and Ethnicity team. She leads the National Survey of Black Americans and has co-authored significant studies, including “Faith Among Black Americans”.12 Before joining Pew Research Center in 2018, Kiana Cox was an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology with a concentration in race and gender from the University of Illinois at Chicago.1
