Sergey Khodakov

Khodakov Sergey is the COO of the IT cluster at Skolkovo with a vast expertise in IT, management, acceleration, corporate innovation, and investment spanning over 18 years.

He is a prominent figure in the industry, frequently presenting at major IT conferences and providing mentorship to startups. Under his leadership, numerous events, accelerator programs, startup challenges, and consulting initiatives have been successfully executed.

With over 18 years of experience in the TMT and VC&PE sectors, Sergey has spearheaded intricate business projects, secured funding, and accelerated IT startups at the forefront of innovation.

His strategic management has facilitated funding for more than 120 startups, enabling them to develop new products and services, thereby contributing to the advancement of the IT landscape.

Sergey's expertise encompasses a wide array of specialties including innovation, startup development, fostering trusted partner relationships, implementing digital innovations and change management, identifying business opportunities, and deploying digital products with significant business value.

He excels at taking a system-based approach to steering complex IT and business projects, implementing organizational changes within large corporations, and possesses exceptional presentation skills.

In terms of education, Sergey has passed the CFA Level II exam, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and studied System Engineering at the Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics. Additionally, he has studied at The University of Manchester and Oxford House College.
