Khawar Malik

Khawar Malik is the founder and CEO of Somos, a company dedicated to preserving language diversity and empowering language teachers with essential tools and resources. He has held this position since October 2021. Under his leadership, Somos focuses on promoting cultural heritage and language rights, aiming to make a significant impact in education and community engagement.23

Before founding Somos, Malik served as the Senior Vice President and M&A Underwriter at Euclid Transactional and was involved in Mezcla Projects as a director. His professional background combines experience in business strategy, social entrepreneurship, and operations management.145 Additionally, he previously founded the charity Apples & Pears, which aligns with his commitment to educational initiatives.

Malik is based in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and has been actively working on expanding Somos’s reach and influence in the education sector.45
