Khawar Malik

Khawar Malik is the CEO of Somos Education, dedicated to language learning and celebrating diversity. Prior to this, he founded the charity Apples & Pears, supporting programs for children and families. He has a strong commercial background in mergers & acquisitions, law, sales, and insurance. Khawar is passionate about protecting endangered languages and cultures, promoting racial equity, and building community initiatives.

His educational background includes a BA in History from the University of Nottingham, an LPC in Law from the College of Law, and completion of various programs in Business Administration and Marketing.

Khawar Malik has held positions such as Director at Mezcla Projects, Senior Vice President at Euclid Transactional, and Senior Underwriter at AIG. He has also been involved with organizations like the Young Survivor Network, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., and Swan Foundation.

Khawar is open to connecting with individuals and organizations involved in diversity, tech, language preservation, social justice, and mutual aid projects. He is also interested in sharing his experiences and mentoring aspiring professionals.
